Why did we change the camera in the latest update?

We switched to the Apple standard camera because it gives us more control of the shot like, auto-focus, zoom, and white balance control.  Unfortunately we lost the ability to crop the photo and are looking into way to add that functionality back in but thought the tradeoff was worth it.  See video on this page for more info from Nick.
